John Mellor-Clark BSc MA
Managing Director
 
John Mellor-Clark has been engaged in the evaluation of UK psychological therapies and counselling for the past 20 years. Originally trained as an organisational psychologist, John's special interest in quality assurance in healthcare has led him to regularly publish and present on a range of topics such as best practice development, service quality benchmarking and introducing practitioner performance appraisal. Through the mid 1990's John led the development of the CORE System as the
first UK standardised quality evaluation system for psychological therapy. Today this system is used by over 250 services and 3,500 clinicians to help measure, monitor and manage therapy outcomes. The unique empirical yield from CORE helps create one of the single largest databases of practice-based evidence in the field.

Alex Curtis Jenkins
IT Director and Technical Support
 

Alex is the technical lead and co-founder of CORE IMS Ltd.  He was the author of both versions of CORE PC and led the development of CORE Net..   He provides technical backup for all CORE users and IT departments in the installation and support of CORE PC and CORE Net systems.

Alex gained a BSc in Business Management from Kings College London.  On graduating he worked for the Metanoia Institute's research department, producing innovative multimedia training software for the Institute's counselling and psychotherapy training programmes.  In 2001 Alex left Metanoia to form CORE IMS with John Mellor-Clark and he also provides consultancy on e-commerce and financial services back office systems.

Tony Jordan
CORE Net Lead and Training
 
Tony  is the CORE Net Lead and responsible for all CORE Net training and support .  He has spent five years using CORE and has been pioneering the use of CORE Net since its inception over 2 years ago.  Tony has 12 years clinical experience in mental health, 5 years as a counsellor in primary care and 8 years running a secondary care mental health day centre.  He has a particular interest in outcome research and the use of CORE as a clinical tool.

Tony has degrees in psychology and electronics, had training in counselling and a variety of therapy modalities, and since then has accumulated his mental health expertise through hands on experience.

Barry McInnes
Head of Training and CORE PC Lead
 
As a practitioner and former service manager he has extensive experience of using the CORE System in practice and service development.  Barry was Head of Counselling for the Royal College of Nursing between 1994 and 2005. He has previously served on the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy's Research Committee, and is a former member and chair of the Association for Counselling at Work Executive.

Kitty McCrea BA MA Cert Ed MBACP (Snr Accred) UKCP Registered Psychotherapist
CORE User Network and CORE Net Forum
 
Kitty is primarily responsible for supporting CORE users through the CORE User Network which is open to all those using CORE software.  She manages the CORE User Network on-line forum for CORE PC users and in 2008 set up the CORE Net Forum for CORE Net users.  She also chairs the CORE User Network Steering Group which is responsible for the policy and development of the Network.
Kitty's interest in CORE System for evaluating the effectiveness of counselling began when she introduced CORE PC into the Student Counselling Service at De Montfort University which she managed from 2001-2007.  Having previously spent 17 years teaching and in management, spanning secondary, further, adult and higher education, Kitty is now in private practice as a therapist and supervisor.

Peter J Mosse
Strategic Development
 
Peter joined CORE in 2007 after running a niche IT company using touchscreens for collecting data from patients and 10 years with LogicaCMG.  He has particular experience of using questionnaires in healthcare and IT user requirements.  His background includes Healthcare, Facilities Management, Communications and Security, working with MoH/NHS, DTI, former DTLR, Home Office and the MOD.  Peter is member of the British Computer Society health informatics Primary
Healthcare Specialist Group (PHCSG) and in 2007/8 sat on Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Informatics Subgroup.  He has a special interest in addressing mental health needs of military veterans.
