CORE Net is second generation support software for the CORE system which has a successful history of over 10 years, supported by the CORE PC analysis tool. CORE methodology is used by over 90% of NHS Primary Care services who use routine Outcome Measurement (OM) in delivering psychological therapies in UK and is now being implemented in other EU countries such as the Netherlands and Denmark. It is showing without doubt that using valid clinical outcomes can dramatically improve patient care and raise standards of service overall.
CORE Net is a web-based mental health clinical management system available to practitioners in any surgery, hospital or consultation room equipped with a PC or laptop with internet access. It can be used inside or outside NHS net and with a security key fob to control the level of access.
CORE Net can be customised to collect extra data and present additional Outcome Measures to compliment CORE tools. In particular, it has been tailored for the national Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme to collect symptom specific measures to help track, manage and maximise recovery.
General practice, Mental Health Trust, private sector and charity services can all use CORE Net to enhance their standards of patient care.
The
client/patients’ ability to answer the questions online
themselves and CORE Net’s unique colourful graphical representation
of the outcome mean the therapist can share results with
them, making CORE Net an integral part of therapy and an
indispensible part of patient management. This encourages
GP and therapist buy-in, raises standards and maximises
data collection.
Operational for more than two years and piloted in over a
dozen demonstration sites, CORE Net is delivering a robust
service which is fully transparent and immediately enhances
patient care. |
